I've been reading your blog for a long time and I love it. I was hoping you could help me. I live in RI. My favorite prim store recently closed (Things Made Wonderful). I'm so sad. My friends and I are just gutted. Can you steer me in the direction of some stores in MA? I'm about 20 mins from Providence. I'd appreciate it very much! Lisa

I am glad that you got to have a mini-vacation with your friend. In spite of the 100+ temp I bet you had a blast finding all of those Prim treasures.
Thank you again for your constant encouragement and support. I feel like I am a bottomless pit of complaints but you sweet friends just keep supporting me. I am so thankful for your love and prayers. Maybe one day, I will actually get well again and not so needy all the time. I look forward to that day... meanwhile.... thank you so much. Your support means more to me than you know.

Sometimes it's a vacation doing just what you did...that's how our vacations have been this summer.
Oh, and don't put me anywhere in the Summer in the South - (allthough we did do two days in Arkansas two weeks ago but it was a family reunion and so it doesn't count as a vacation does it???)
Yours was the perfect stay at home vacation...FRIENDS AND SHOPPING - what more does a gal want.

Wow, I'm loving all the goodies you bought. Being in SC myself, I know how she feels about prim shopping being few and far between. I am REALLY loving that sheep. And the chair .... what a great deal. If I ever get up there again, I may just have to pick up a Uhaul somewhere along the way first!!

Linda, I'm so glad you had a well deserved break and there's no better way to spend it than with a good prim friend and some shopping. Great therapy. I love what you purchased, love that sconce and what a deal on the chair. Wow! We take weekends to the cabin in the summer and fall but will be planning a trip to Vermont in the future. I'm so excited, seems like I've been all over but never to the East. Have a good week.

Hi Lynda ~ We've had no rain around here. Just lots of heat, becomes exhausting after awhile! There aren't many prim shoppes around my neck of the woods. I'm always on the hunt. Love all of your pieces.

Sounds like a positively delightful couple of days....especially for Jill! And the fun of unpacking her car when she got home! I used to have trips like that to see my sister-in-law, and had a long list of "have-to's" "gotta-gets" since we have no prim and little antique shopping in these parts....Love your new treasures...but that chair...oh that chair....I'm drooling over that!! Lucky, lucky, you!!!
