Lovely post of your Family Food and Foliage.

Happy to see and hear your Mother and Father-in-law doing well for the visit.
Just yesterday, DH and I took the roads in search of the beauty of Fall. What a treat it was. Miles and Miles of nothing but bronze, copper, rust, red, orange, gold, and yellow. Went wondering off on the side of the road and took a little walk. We didn't say much; not verbally anyways, just enjoyed the view, sounds, and smells of nature. Almost lost track of the location of the vehicle. :)

Thanks for taking us on your trip. All your photos are beautiful.

Oh yes, your profile picture is very nice. Love it too.

What a considerate, thoughtful hubby you have. I am so impressed that he realized how hard you had been working and took you out for that lovely drive.

I have been really tired since our cruise. Unpacking and putting everything away should not be a hard job but it has seemed big to me... maybe because I can't use my left arm to do much yet.... well, whatever the reason, I needed a little break today....so I really enjoyed going along on this scenic ride with you two. I LOVE the music that was playing and the view was breathtaking. We don't get too much of the colorful fall foliage here in CA. so thanks for taking me along with you.
I am glad that you've had a nice visit with your in-laws...and that Lili felt at home with them.

There is nothing more relaxing or beautiful than a drive in the country this time of year!
I will definitely try out your salad, I was to the orchard just before our Thanksgiving.

The scenery looks just like the area where I live with the steep roads and runaway truck signs, views of high hills and the color of the trees.

Love the quaint little towns along the way !

Hi Linda!...what a wonderful surprise to get to go on a foliage drive in the country!...that's definitely a cool feature on that camera...Don and I were in the Shenandoah Valley on Saturday and the colors are just beginning out there, we'll have to go back in a few weeks!...you're absolutely right, there is no need to go outside this beautiful country because we have it all right here!...thank you for sharing your lovely pictures!

Sounds like a perfect weekend to me, Linda...time spent with family and traveling the roads. The photos are spectacular.

Mr. PQ and I will be heading out tomorrow to do the same as you and Mr. Red Door did yesterday. It's supposed to be a bright and sunny day, a perfect recipe to explore parts of Nova Scotia that we haven't seen yet.

Such beautiful fall foliage pictures Linda. So glad that you got to get away and have some quiet time with you hubby. Family is so important and we would do anything for them.
