As always, your pictures are marvelous; I am jealous of the REAL bitterwsweet and I, too, just want to incorporate my everyday decor with seasonal for a simpler look, and LESS WORK! I find that sharing what I love and find and my special touches to my home that make me happy - seem to make others happy too and sometimes maybe an inspiration to them as well.

Linda...it was so nice to see you again. Your photos are so pretty, you have so many neat shelves to put your nice collections on . On Saturday while going to The Walker Homestead show , which was AWESOME !!! My friend on & I continued on hitting all the cute shops & antigue shops. The last antique shop we were in , we got very sad news. The very talented Mary Beth Baxter passed away in June. She had a heart attack & had complications. My friend & I have very fond memories of Mary Beth painting her charming gift bags , we couldn't wait to see her shop. We will tresure our orignal art work , but will miss her friendly smile & laughter, she was a very special woman.

So GOOD to have you back!!! You were terribly missed! Thanks for sharing life's ups and downs. It makes us all feel that we are not alone...BRAGGING, are you kidding me??? Your blog got me through (& continues to get me through) some very trying times in my life, it is my refuge and my sanctuary to have some "normalcy".

Welcome back Linda, when you said you didn't know when in september you'd be back I thought oh man it's gonna take forever for september to come to be able to read a post again and see all your amazing decorating but it feels like I blinked and September is almost over! So glad your back and that you'll continue blogging when you can!
All your new decor is gorgeous along with your fall decorating!
Lili is such a growing girl and she's got beautiful hair! They grow up so fast!
Glad you had a great break and got a good list of things done that you wanted too! We all need them once and a while!

Your blog is a "must"...I think so many people feel very welcome when they pop in..and "closing that Red door" would be a sad day for many!!

I love all your fall touches...just gorgeous! Love that new stencil, the shutters...the new pieces you've brought home...everything looks so autumnal...so wonderful!

A wonderful post as always..Your Fall decorating is just awesome eye candy to say the least......I really love walking thru your home with you to see what has been keeping you busy! And that is an understatement....I thought I was one busy lady but you GF have me beat hands down!!!!! Your darling Lily is just such a little doll......I can't imagine not wanting to eat her up!!!! Last but not least thank you for the reminder to always think about the blessings we have in our lives and usually that will bring us back to reality that while yes life gets hard.......for all of us.....we truly do have a lot to be thankful for EACH and EVERY day! I just want to say "thank you" for giving your time to inspire others like me. I'm new to Blogger and the prim community this year. I came across your blog through APP, and only last fall, while researching my new business adventure, I came across APP. I opened my online store in May, and after being a very small part of what I now know is a very huge community, I just enjoy it so much. I'm a bookkeeper, working out of the home, so this creative outlet is soooo nice. It's work, but nice! Anyway, I know it is a lot of work to take photos, edit, post, travel, and write. I know because I do it! So I just want to say that all your efforts are a blessing to me and I know to so many others. Thank you.
