Lots of eye candy…

or in other words…

Another Amazing Photo Shoot!

Yesterday Bonnie, Audrey, Ashley and I were back to work shooting another home for a future issue of A Primitive Place Magazine. Bet you can’t guess which issue??

I can only show you some photos that won’t make it to print, but I think you will be able to tell how much fun we had…

Bonnie and Ashley got new cameras for Christmas so they had fun with all their new features…

..and Bonnie even caught me trying to sneak out with a great make-do chair..

The homeowner Judy treated us to a yummy lunch of quiche and salad…

496

Her table looked so pretty with her Pennington Pottery. Bennington Pottery are my every day dishes here Behind My Red Door but they looked to much better in this setting.487

We always plan to brown bag our lunches because we know how much work it is to get ready for a shoot, so we really appreciated this treat.489

We all were enamored of the adorable individual sets of antique salt and pepper shakers at each place setting.

Thank you Judy for so warming welcoming us into your gorgeous home! It was another great shoot and we each came away with MANY awesome photo’s. We will send our best ones to Kristine (and there are a lot of those) and then she will decide which one to use. Something tells me she is going to have a hard time deciding!

Judy is the owner of a wonderful shop in Hopkinton, MA that I have blogged about before called Country Plus (you can click on the name to get to her website for the address and directions). Her shop is filled to the brim with great antiques and prims. See for yourself…

Do you think this would make a good potty for Lili when she is in training? 651

So many treasures…

We will be back to the shop in the Spring when Judy has a Spring Open House. Watch for details here and on the APP Blog ~HERE~! But don’t wait until then to stop by and say hi to Judy!

Until next time, hugs Grammee Linda

Hello Linda!
Sure am looking forward to that issue, but thankfully we have your pictures to enjoy. What a beautiful home. Her table looked straight out of an old tavern!
I must make it down to her shop.
Thanks for THE GREAT EYE CANDY!

WOW! If those are the pics that don't make it to print, I can't wait to see the ones that do! You have the best job ever to be able to go see all of these wonderful prim homes and shops. I could really get lost in her little shop (and spend some serious cash!)
Take care, Linda! oxox

Jo-Anne took the words right out of my mouth about the beauty of the pics that won't make it to print. Obviously Judy's home is drop-dead gorgeous.
Too bad her shop is not in Ohio so I could take a look-see. Then again, it's probably a good thing!
Thank you for sharing.
Pug hugs :)

What a beautiful home Judy has and what lovely pictures you gals took. I think it is so neat that you work for the magazine doing the thing you love and are so good at. I think I would be a good prim home decorator if I lived back east and known about it when I was decorating my home years ago. I did not know about prims and country decor when I was planning my home. We have what is called Early American out here but not prim....at least not that I knew of. Now it is too late to change everything and redo it. John and I both enjoy antiques. We have several out in our entry way.... but if I told John I wanted to start over and redo the whole house I am afraid the first antique he would get rid of would be me.lol
Have a great week dear. I hope you have much to smile about. Hugs, Grammy L

Hi Linda,
Thanks for stopping by my blog! I am so envious of you being able to visit those lovely Early New England homes in person. Love your work with the magazine, I recently subscribed and can't wait for my first issue to arrive!

Eye candy to be sure! It's a good thing that this sort of candy has no calories or I'd be larger than I am now! *wink*

I'd love to know the color on the walls. It looks like a pewter/green hue which I love. I think I'm leaning to paint our dining and sitting rooms a similar color so it really caught my eye.

Thanks for sharing and for the inspiration too!
