Let the sun shine in….

After every storm the sun will smile; for every problem there is a solution, and the soul's indefeasible duty is to be of good cheer.

Great photos--even if snow is cold, and dangerous and a mess, it is beautiful right after it has fallen. Love the perspective. Have a warm, sunny day!!!! Julie

I was thinking those were winter pictures from my house Linda but when I got to the beautiful shots of the inside I knew I was at your house. I could only wish my home looked like yours on the inside more so than it does on the outside with all that snow! Have a fabulous day and stay warm.
Hugs,
AMY

Oh WOW Linda...you guys sure did get ALOT of snow! Actually that WAS our normal Winters around and to this moment, we don`t even have enough snow for the kids to slide.

I have been following the news and can`t get over the places that are getting snow, never had it before.

Stay safe and most of all stay warm. Hopefully it will melt fast :)

Ditto up here in Nova Scotia, Linda...although no sun as yet.

I think a snow blower is on our short list. Take a look at Sam shoveling on my blog. He really is getting too old for this.

Lucky you with all the snow - we haven't been getting nearly enough to make me happy here in Utah!

Have you heard from Kathy Brewer lately? I've lost touch with her since she moved!

I posted about the sun today though we are a far cry warmer here but your pictures are so lovely and I wish sometimes we would get snow and have real seasons but I am thankful for the warmth today. Feels good.

What beautiful photo's of both inside and out. I love when it's a fresh snow and everything is covered. We got hit Tuesday & Wednesday with the same storm you were hit with. But now the sun is out and things are cleared. It's so bright and beautiful with the sun shining down on us!!!
Have a great day!

Lovely photos Linda. Looks like there was quite a bit of wind that came along with the storm. My cousin lives in Belmont, NH and he said they got 22" and he cleared his driveway twice yesterday-and grumbled about it too!
The snow is so beautiful when the sun shines. TFS
Stay warm~

Linda,

Your photos are wonderful of your cozy and warm and inviting home ! The snow photos are pretty, too, but I really don't like snow.. especially when you have to drive on it !

My friend called me from Stafford Springs, CT, near the Massachusettes border, yesterday morning and they had gotten 22 inches ! And it was still snowing !

I love visiting your blog ! It is such a treat !

Please pass the soup ! It looks so yummy !

Hugs,
Linda

Beautiful, beautiful pictures! We still have snow on the ground down here in SC. May sound strange but we almost NEVER keep snow on the ground long. The sun melts it or the temp goes over freezing the next day. Not this time!

Oh Linda I can so relate to those photos.
I love it when the sun finally goes through.
I really am ready for warmer days and the new colors of spring.
Loved the indoor photo shots also.
Have a great weekend

Linda... those are gorgeous pictures. Mother Nature at her best! We got about 10" here in Southeastern MA. Your inside pictures are just as beautiful. I always love looking at your decorating.

Oh my goodness. I thought we had a lot of snow while we were in Utah but it looks like you have had much more. After days of snow and temperatures between 9 and 22, I am glad to be back in CA. It is in the 70's here and I am enjoying it.

Your pictures are beautiful even if they do look cold. Your home looks warm and inviting and your soup looks like the perfect meal for weather like that.

I have missed you. I am sending you
warm hugs and best wishes.
