Happy Fall again!! I said it was fall on my Sunday post because the counter I had on my side bar the time said it was fall. Humm…. well…several astute bloggers pointed out that error and I did some research and found out that, sure enough, they were correct! So I deleted that faulty counter, edited the post and enjoyed another First Day of Fall today!

On Sunday while Mr. Red Door and I were on our adventure, Liliana went on an adventure of her own. Her very first trip to an Orchard! Jay and Angela have been going to Tougas Farms for years so it was only natural they look their sweetie pie with them this year. This is what she thinks about the orchard…
Yup, she slept through most of it, waking up just in time for a picture with my DIL Angela, her mommy. Now you can see where she gets her good looks! 
One of my sweet blog peeps, Jill of Crows, Suds & Cinnamon kindly sent me a link to a source for metal jar lids. She remembered another boggy friend had been looking for something similar several weeks back. You can use these on regular jars like mayonnaise jars to get a prim look. Thanks Jill!

I so enjoyed catching up with all of your fall-themed adventuring this morning. The photos, as always, are lovely. We're beginning to see some color in the wetter areas too. And I guess Sunday was apple picking day in New England! We spent the morning doing that very same thing. It was a gorgeous day. Liliana's pictures reminded me of Brendan's first trip to the orchard. He was three weeks old and slept in the Snugli the entire time. I'm sure she'll be racing down the lanes next year...

I was wondering about that faulty counter....LOL! Because my calendar was definitely showing today as the first day of Fall. Doesn't feel like it here though. Still quite hot as is typical in most of California. Today is also our 30th wedding anniversary. B-Daddy has the day off and I work a short day. Then we will go play tourists somewhere. Hopefully we wont' get too hot. Then we will go out to dinner as well.
