The Party is over....

The clock has struck 12 noon and I am no longer accepting entries to my give away. Sorry!
All I can say is WOW!! I was pretty sure I had put together a nice little package of goodies, but the response has been amazing. Well over 225 individual entries ! You don't see every comment entered because as I promised, IF REQUESTED, any entry with an email address was not published so there are many more the public doesn't see - but they are indeed printed out and the slip is in the bowl. For all of you that sent folks over and posted my give away, THANK YOU! Your extra slips are in the bowl as well so that brings the number of slips to over 250!! I had to pull out my biggest yellow ware bowl last night because of so many entries. I have been printing out the comments as they come in and at the appointed hour, I will reach in the bowl and pull one slip and that lucky person will be the sole winner. If you don't win this time, maybe you'll be luckier when I have my Christmas giveaway in late November. I am already thinking of things to put aside for that one!
Now I can't wait to have some time to go back and check out all the blogs of my first time visitors! So many blogs, so little time. But first, I have some rearranging to do around here and projects to catch up on. Reading each comment, choosing to publish it or not and printing the out has taken up HOURS of my weekend. We did manage to get in a short shopping trip to take advantage of the NO SALES TAX weekend in MA and the many sales that shop keepers are having to coincide with it and I got a great new piece of furniture for my dining room. More about that later! And I am finishing up a post for another day as a follow up to My Favorite Black Dress. Just let me say - it's a bit more colorful!
I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday and THANK-YOU for each and every entry and kind comment and sweet emails and notes. I say it all the time - I meet the nicest people on the Internet and in blog land!
Until next time - hugs, Linda
